A Letter from Dr. Ross
So here’s the story of how I started this business:
My wife, my girlfriend at the time, Nicole, had lived in Cleveland before to moving to West Virginia, and she’d gotten a Botox treatment there that she loved. When she told me about it, I thought, “That would make a great Christmas present!”
I didn’t know anything about Botox or aesthetic procedures, but I found a local dermatologist online and bought her a gift certificate.
The treatment didn’t do much, and she wasn’t happy with the experience.
That stuck with me. I’d just come from a business training that talked about the power of experience, and I thought, “I could do this so much better.” So I enrolled in A4M’s aesthetic medicine fellowship, spending weekends training in Botox, dermal fillers, laser procedures, body contouring, vein therapy, and more.
Once I finished, I needed a way to actually put that training to use. A mentor from the program suggested reaching out to local day spas that might want to add medical services. One spa owner had an extra room being used for storage. I rented it, planning to offer Botox and filler to a few clients on the side.
That side project became a business. We added team members, added laser treatments, and kept growing. I was one of the first providers in the region to bring in Sciton’s Halo laser the year it launched.
That’s been the philosophy from day one: bring Morgantown the same cutting-edge technology you’d normally only find in a big city, paired with the kind of personal care a big city can’t offer.
More than ten years later, the tools have changed and the practice has grown, but that philosophy hasn’t moved an inch. Every client gets our full attention and results built around their face, not a trend.
As we head into the next decade of aesthetic medicine, that’s still the standard: the most advanced care in the region, delivered like you’re the only patient we have.
